Located in San Francisco, Spaces Apart provides landscape design, consultation, project management, and maintenance to residential clients and community spaces. Our designs range from urban small space gardens to living labyrinths to gardens drawn from spiritual and cultural traditions. Each garden that we create is a space that we see as a needed retreat from the busy world.

Whatever the project, we keep our focus on our mission to grow tranquility in our world. We think of our designs as sanctuaries and our maintenance work as the work of space caretakers rather than that of disruptive laborers surround by clouds of two-cycle engine exhaust.

We offer design services that work to build the space that you need and that respect the ecosystem and land on which you are building. We provide short-term and long-term maintenance for your garden. Or, if you are interested in being the caretaker for your space or are just starting to look at new ideas, we also offer in depth consultations to recommend changes, design maintenance shedules, and more.
