Spaces Apart is, for the most part, a one-woman show, so I guess that this is really About Me!

My name is Jenn Djinnaya Stroud. I am a certified horticulturalist, a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, and a member of the San Francisco Professional Gardeners' Association. Most importantly, though, I love plants and the gardens of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Before coming to work in horticulture, I worked as a technology consultant to nonprofit organizations. When things started to slow down for the npo I was working with, I decided that I needed to take some time to find my muse. After just a little time off, it became clear that my muse was clearly the gardens that I cared for and drew.

After completing my horticulture degree, I opened Spaces Apart to be a company that worked with my ideals of working with the environment, working to help people realize their aesthetic dreams, and creating living art.

I'm currently pursuing yet-more-schooling in the form of a BFA in Spatial Arts, further developing my skills in design, sculpture, ceramic work, and space creation. While doing this, I am working with my maintenance clients, providing consultations, and doing a small number of design projects each year.

No matter how busy my schedule gets, though, my goal remains the same...
